Rachel Barlow

Sports & Massage Therapist

Rachel qualified as a yoga teacher in 2006 after two teacher trainings and two years of extensive study in India. She started teaching in 2007 supplementing her knowledge by completing a BTEC Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage in 2009 from the London School of Sports Massage.

Over the years, Rachel has vastly added to her toolbox of treatment and movement rehabilitation knowledge, including qualifications in Anatomy in Motion (as seen in the 2016 episode of the hit BBC television program, “Doctor in the House”), Immaculate Disscetion and NeuroKinetic Therapy (Level 2).

Rachel combines her years of experience in movement, rehabilitation and therapy to form personalised bespoke treatment plans for her clients and yoga classes to her students. She sees the body as a whole and combines breathing retraining, movement and therapeutic techniques to all clinical sessions.

Rachel is an explorative mover having studied ballet as a child and later, yoga. Currently, her practice has a much wider movement base with meditation and breath work being at the heart of all of her movement practice. She regularly practices Gyrokinesis, yoga, climbing, running, cycling, hiking in the mountains and is obsessed with GMB Fitness and her ring training – anything that challenges her mind and body.
